Each session is uniquely tailored to your needs and preferences as we will discuss focus areas and depth of pressure desired before your massage. Prices are for actual hands-on time and includes your choice of essential oil. Warm towels and hot stones are included in my studio massages. This is an indulgent spa-like experience that grounds the body and mind, melts away tension and nourishes the skin. I first use heated basalt stones to warm your tissues, increase circulation and open the pores allowing my own blend of jojoba, sunflower, coconut and shea butter oil to penetrate and hydrate your skin. I then massage the muscles using warm Himalayan stones which contain 80 trace minerals including potassium, iron, calcium and magnesium. These minerals are absorbed into the skin allowing your pH levels to regulate, hydration to increase, detoxification to occur as well as the benefit of pain relief and a deeper and more restful sleep. This treatment includes hot towels and massage on the feet and hands as well as a focus on the neck, shoulders, scalp and face. Your face will be gently warmed and massaged with rose quartz stones and treated with your choice of locally handcrafted and organic serum from the Golden Poppy Apothecary in Old Town. Your skin, mind, and muscles will thank you!
